Opioid overdoses kill more people in U.S. than guns or breast cancer. Overdoses killed young and middle-aged Americans at a breakneck pace as the country battles a crippling opioid crisis. By comparison, opioids killed more people in 2020 than the 37,400 killed in car accidents, 38,000 by guns or more than 40,000 from breast cancer. Last year alone there were 87,300 deaths. She draws this conclusion from surveys of women who had abortions at nearly 200 pregnancy care centers. Counseling has the greatest impact when a young girl or woman first discovers she is pregnant. At this time of crisis, she needs compassionate help from someone who really cares about both her and her baby. Esperanza Casa Para Los Niños By sponsoring a hole in the Hope4Youth Golf Tournament you can insure that not only will these orphans receive the necessary education to become contributing members of their communities but also rescue them from a life of servitude in the sex trade (most young girls) and the drug trade (for most young men). For these less fortunate orphans, life gives very few choices and the funding of an education for those children enables them to break the cycle of poverty and suffering. The no frill tournament model is unique since the underwriting of the tournament is borne by you the sponsors, 100% of all contributions, fees and auction proceeds will go directly into the educational scholarship to pay their tuition and assist in the purchase of the necessary text books and supplies.
